Overview:
Our programs provide full-day/full-year care and offer the highest quality education and development opportunities for young children ages six weeks to five years at four sites in Greenwich, CT. Each school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality early care and education programs.
Our Philosophy:
We accept each young child as a unique and valuable individual and group member, honoring and respecting family language and cultures. Our curriculum, goals and objectives guide our staff's ongoing assessment of children's progress, while facilitating each child's individual growth and language acquisition and cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative domains.
Responsibilities:
- Part-Time and Substitute Teachers are responsible for monitoring each child
- Implementing lesson plans
- Providing effective and supportive classroom supervision
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for education
- Able to lift and move 25 pounds on a regular basis and is occasionally able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or relevant)
- At least 12 ECE credits
- Bilinguality is a plus
