Grade: Hourly 9 | H-9

Position Summary: The Maintenance Analyst I provides technical and administrative support for the Facilities work order system, ensuring accurate entry, tracking, and communication of maintenance requests across the district. This position supports daily operations by processing work orders, coordinating communication between departments, and maintaining accurate records and reporting. This role works under general supervision and is responsible for supporting efficient maintenance operations and customer service across district facilities. The Maintenance Analyst I serves as a primary point of contact for incoming service requests and ensures work orders are dispatched, tracked, and closed accurately. This position is part of the Operational Contributor career track within the Maintenance department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

● High school diploma or GED equivalent required
● Associate’s degree or coursework in business administration, office management, or related field preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an office environment handling clerical or administrative duties
• Experience with work order systems or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred
• Experience in a school district or public facilities environment preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license preferred
• No additional certifications required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Ability to learn and use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work streams under general supervision
• Ability to identify problems, anticipate needs, and apply logical reasoning to resolve issues
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with maintenance staff, school personnel, and vendors
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle requests from diverse stakeholders
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and apply them consistently
