    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic and passionate elementary school art teacher to join our team for the 26-27 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth, bring creativity to their instruction, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

     

     


     

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction
       
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals
       
    • Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations
       
    • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
       
    • Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
       
    • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
       
    • Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
       
    • Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities
       
    • Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
       
    • Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures
       

     

     


     

     

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
       
    • Must pass a criminal history background check
       
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

       

     

     


     

     

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive salary range: $60,000� $80,000, commensurate with experience
       
    • Additional bonuses can include Signing, Performance, and Retention incentives- Max salary could be $110,000-$125,000 with bonuses

    Staff are evaluated under the Achieve NJ Teacher Evaluation system, which includes:
