We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Liability Adjuster to join our growing team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is ideal for a seasoned claims professional with a strong background in liability investigations, coverage analysis, and claims resolution.

Position Summary:

The Liability Adjuster will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving complex liability claims. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of insurance policies, state regulations, and claims best practices, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Investigate liability claims including auto, general liability, and bodily injury claims
  
• 
  Analyze coverage and determine liability exposure
  
• 
  Conduct recorded statements and review police reports, medical records, and other documentation
  
• 
  Evaluate damages and set appropriate reserves
  
• 
  Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties
  
• 
  Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation in compliance with company standards
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to Virginia state regulations and company policies
  
• 
  Collaborate with legal teams and vendors as needed
  

Qualifications:

• 
  3+ years of experience handling liability claims (auto and/or general liability preferred)
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling practices
  
• 
  Experience negotiating settlements and managing litigated claims
  
• 
  Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• 
  Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
  
• 
  Proficiency with claims management systems
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Virginia Adjuster License (or ability to obtain)
  
• 
  Experience with bodily injury and litigation claims
  
• 
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
