HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR CLIFTON OFFICE
● Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery details; manage inbound job tickets, track order status; and resolve invoice, order, inventory, and quality discrepancies.
● Review requisitions, contracts, and approved suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, pricing, delivery service, and vendor standards, while continuously identifying cost-saving opportunities.
● Collaborate cross-functionally - including estimating, legal, and operations teams - to align material costs with estimates, support contract and RFQ requirements, facilitate vendor setup and compliance, and drive process improvements.
● Maintain inventory flow and develop a working knowledge of operations, manufacturing processes, plant equipment inventory control, and receiving procedures.
● Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Purpose:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services to meet the company and the customer’s specifications and quality standards, in addition to lead time requirements.Job Responsibilities:
● Manage procurement activities by identifying commodity needs, preparing purchase orders and bid requests, negotiating supplier terms, and recommending cost-effective sourcing decisions that support operations, manufacturing, sales, estimating, project management, and accounting.● Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery details; manage inbound job tickets, track order status; and resolve invoice, order, inventory, and quality discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent; two-year Associates Degree preferred
- Experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Logistics is preferred
- Experience in Monarch system, a plus
- Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
Work Experience:
2+ years related experience preferred● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Education:
