Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will support core accounting functions across accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, and corporate credit cards, while also playing a key role in the monthly close process. This position is designed to operate within a cross-trained team structure, enabling coverage across functions and reducing key person dependency.

This role will help ensure accurate financial reporting, support scalability as the Company grows, and strengthen internal processes and controls.


About the Role

The Senior Accountant will support core accounting functions across accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, and corporate credit cards, while also playing a key role in the monthly close process. This position is designed to operate within a cross-trained team structure, enabling coverage across functions and reducing key person dependency.


This role will help ensure accurate financial reporting, support scalability as the Company grows, and strengthen internal processes and controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support accounts payable (A/P) processes, including invoice review, coding, and processing
  • Manage and track fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Assist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Monitor and reconcile corporate credit card activity
  • Participate in the monthly close process, including:
    • Preparing account reconciliations
    • Recording journal entries
    • Supporting close procedures and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and organized supporting documentation
  • Cross-train across multiple accounting functions to provide coverage during absences
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
  • Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory and fixed asset accounting
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
  • Public company or audit experience


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 (DOE)
