    SUBSTITUTE - ON CALL
    POSITION:

    Custodian 

     

    TYPE:

    On call as needed. These positions work Monday-Friday.

     

    COMPENSATION:

    Range 27; Schedule M; Step 1: $ 20.24 Hourly

     

    TYPE OF RECRUITMENT:

    This is an OPEN recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the classification of Custodian (Substitute).


    No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of the applicants (P.C. Rule 60.100.5).

     

    TESTING PROCEDURE:

    The examination process will consist of a written examination.


    Applicants will be notified via email regarding their status. Those selected to participate in the testing process will receive additional details, including the date and location of the exam, once the schedule is finalized. 

     

    DESCRIPTION:

    The job of Custodian is done for the purpose/s of providing custodial services at assigned site; ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations; and assisting in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

    Experience: Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

     

    LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: 

    Possession of a valid California driver's license.
