In today's world, where people's lifestyles and values are diversifying, the challenges in marketing research are becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex. To address these changes and derive deeper, more fundamental insights, we leverage over 100 million pieces of big data connected through the common ID of the Rakuten Group. Our mission is to provide new value across the entire marketing process for our customers.
Within the Rakuten Group, there is growing anticipation for new data businesses that utilize our unique and vast data assets. In December 2024, we will implement an organizational restructuring that integrates Rakuten Insight, Inc., Rakuten Insight Global, Inc., and the Super Mini Byte business, establishing a more robust synergy creation system for data utilization.
Under this system, we aim to further accelerate the use of AI technology, automate and enhance data analysis, provide real-time insights, and improve the quality of decision-making support. Our goal is to create new value that brings innovation to companies' marketing activities.
The Ad & Media Solutions
Department is dedicated to providing problem-solving marketing support to a diverse range of clients, including advertising agencies and media companies. By leveraging marketing research, AI technology, and the extensive data assets held by Rakuten, we aim to address and resolve our clients' challenges.

Position Details
Responsibilities
Product / business development tasks
- Exploring business opportunities in collaboration with internal and external Rakuten services
- Formulating the direction and project roadmap for new business initiatives
- Project management tasks, including progress management and scope definition
- Driving cross-departmental projects in collaboration with management-level members within the group
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire process from product development to post-launch marketing strategies for data and marketing research products.
Work Environment
This department, consisting of over 20 members, facilitates easy collaboration with sales teams and data analysts within the same organization.
We are looking for individuals who have experience as a Product Manager working with members from various roles to develop new products. Candidates should have a strong interest in AI, marketing research, and big data, and be eager to enhance their skills in these areas. Prior experience is not necessarily required.

- Experience in project management
