Brief Description:   

The Sr Project Coordinator provides project support for various divisional projects. Prepares reports and conducts special projects as assigned to ensure meeting company and regulatory requirements according to time, quality/scope and budget constraints. Reports and tracks progress of projects to ensure commitments are met for Senior Management. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and directions from others. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group. 
 

Specific job duties:

  • Manage project per the Scope of Work (SOW) and within the contracted budget
  • Ensure project is conducted according to UBC and Sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Serve as one point of contact with Sponsor(s) and internal employee project team.
  • Prepare or coordinate with an internal multidisciplinary team to develop deliverables
  • Participate in internal project and client meetings
  • Present information at client meetings and internal project review meetings
  • Track and communicate delivery and/or completion of project deliverables to monitor revenue recognition, invoicing, and follow-up
  • Contribute to operational aspects of the design, content, and preparation of protocols, amendments, project plans, and timelines
  • Monitoring of study deliverables 
  • Participating in study planning and set-up activities including vendor management, project management, and coordination of study and implementation plans
  • Supporting vendor relationships
  • Using relevant reports, identify the progress of data collection and reporting 
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (including CRO) experience is ideal 
  • A team player with the flexibility to work over multiple projects if required 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) 
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools (including Microsoft Office Products [Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project])
  • Professional, organized, detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, self-motivated and quality driven
  • Enjoys fast-paced environment, challenge of learning about different health-related areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
