What you´ll do
The QAL role belongs to the Quality Engineering team, which supports all production shops in achieving Built in Quality, problem solving as well as drives the cross functional concern resolution of customer concerns.
As a QAL your main tasks are to:
Quality secure project issues (including Running Changes)-Aiming for early detection & decrease of launch issues in the production plant
- Participate in FMEA, VBE (Virtual Build Event) and VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
- Act on suspected quality risks and lead Issue management concern meetings
Lead, drive & support preventive and corrective Quality actions-Aiming for less disturbances in the production plant & improved quality output for Customers
- For complex quality issues, lead cross functional problem solving and task forces
- Act on external/internal potential critical concerns (e.g. initiate kick-off) and support ongoing issues within the Critical Concerns Action Process (CCAP)
Lead, coach & manage your own team of both direct and indirect reports-Aiming to increase both individual & team development & performance, fostering the Volvo culture.
- Take responsibility for the deliveries, improvement and coaching of own team towards decided priorities
- Train/coach team members, break down tasks and give assignments to increase team member skill level.
What you'll bring
- University degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or equivalent technical engineering experience
- You are passionate about Quality & have a proven structured & advanced problem-solving experience.
- You have proven skills and/or experience in diagnostics & analytics, for software & hardware.
- Experience in Vehicle fault diagnosis (system principles, fault phenomena and data) to quickly and accurately determine vehicle fault issues and propose solutions is highly meritorious.
- You would like to be a role model in applying the Volvo Car culture & behavior, taking responsibility for deliveries both as an individual & as a team member.
- You have leadership, communication & networking skills & you can communicate in English, both written and spoken.
Compensation
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.200 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job.
Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
