Pay range for this position is $42.31 - $65.59/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.

This position will be supporting OSF College of Nursing in Rockford, IL

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Simulation Coordinator provides oversight of all educational simulation and simulation research activities and serves as a leader in promoting the use of education, performance improvement, and innovation of simulation educational strategies. This includes managing resources including space and equipment, as well as collaborating with staff; developing simulation curriculum in collaboration with course faculty; ensuring the effective creation, modification, and execution of high-quality initiatives based on best practices in curriculum and instructional design; and participating in simulation research.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate in nursing

 

Experience: 5 years’ experience in simulation and simulation curriculum development. Educational research with health care emphasis.

 

Licensure/ Certification: Healthcare simulation certification

 

Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
