The
WFM Analyst is a subject matter expert of the workforce management solution (WFMS)
system, with working knowledge of operational practices, procedures, systems
and initiatives and how they interact with the workforce management solution
system. Assists in the review,
development and deployment of new workforce management applications and
processes. Supports the Operations team
by providing metrics, data analysis and recommendations on business initiatives
which support process improvement, scaling and efficiencies and are responsive
to the changing needs of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all
of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with
the job performance requirements.
- Works within the organization to understand and gather scheduling requirements for the assessment, deployment and on-going system maintenance.
- Works with WFMS consultants (internal and external) during any "build" phase to fully understand how the product is designed and the solution built.
- Aggregates data and produces standard or customized reports for use by facility and FSC management.
- Collaborates with others to develop standard reporting and metrics, and to provide new tools in support of the organization.
- Conducts WFMS training and provides on-going advisory support to direct system users and management.
- Analyzes processes and data to ensure effective resource planning and utilization to meet service and financial objectives with recommendations for process/system enhancements.
- Analyzes staffing patterns and integrates forecasts for resource planning using automated workforce management software.
- Develops solutions involving unstructured environments. Makes recommendations that support the standardization of methods, procedures, equipment and facilities.
- Conducts regular audits of staffing and shift data and reports on issues to be addressed.
- Reviews data access rules across WFM program to ensure staff has correct system access.
- Provides analysis of facility's workforce management performance.
- Prepares and delivers presentations and written reports to management on workforce management performance and efficiency.
- Represents Staffing and Workforce Management on workgroups and project teams.
- Acts as liaison between departments on items related to Staffing and Workforce Management.
- Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited college
or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or related
field is required. - 2+ years of operational
analytics, process improvement, preferably within a workforce management
system, or other related experience is required. - Additional years of related experience may
be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, up to two
years. - Experience
with UKG WFM PRO or Kronos Workforce Central and Telestaff preferred. - 1+ years of correctional industry experience
preferred. - Ability to work independently
while at the same time being team focused. - Strong analytical, oral and
written communication and interpersonal skills required. - Excellent
problem solving and decision-making skills required. - Knowledge of workforce
management theory and best practices preferred. - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially
Microsoft Excel, is required. - Ability to
travel is required.
