Job Description

We are currently seeking several Substitute Program Aides to join our team and support programs for young children in Putnam, Plainfield, and Natchaug.


 


As a Substitute Aide, you will run engaging activities and provide caring supervision for young children during the school year. This is an as-needed position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids and has a flexible schedule.


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities for young children

  • Provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children

  • Create a positive, supportive, and nurturing environment

  • Step in as needed during the school year to support our programs


Requirements:



  • Experience working with young children (preferred)

  • Ability to engage and interact positively with children

  • Reliable, responsible, and flexible availability

  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with kids

  • Background check and any required certifications (will be discussed during hiring process)


Location: Putnam, Plainfield, and Natchaug, CT


 


Schedule: As-needed / On-call basis during the school year
