Job Description

Job Title: Golf Attendant
Supervisor: Clubhouse Manager
Hours: Part-Time (evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Position Summary

The Port of Morrow is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Golf Attendant to assist with the daily operations of Marker 40 Golf Club. This role is vital in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day clubhouse and course operations.


Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to club members and guests, both in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate course information, policies, and event details clearly and accurately.
  • Coordinate player activities from check-in to the first tee, including: collecting green fees, assigning golf carts, managing club rentals, processing merchandise sales
  • Maintain and assist with the upkeep of the golf cart fleet.
  • Perform cleaning duties and restock merchandise in the golf shop.
  • Accurately operate and reconcile cash register transactions and daily sales reports.
  • Open and close the golf shop when scheduled.
  • Perform various assigned tasks that may change daily.
  • Carry out other duties assigned.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Environmental Factors

  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Enjoy working with the public and providing exceptional customer service. Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Previous golf or customer service experience is preferred. A basic understanding of golf etiquette and terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess or obtain an OLCC Service Permit within one week of hire.
