Product Owner

We are looking for a proactive and business-focused Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of our digital products across web and mobile platforms. You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders, UX, and engineering teams—ensuring that customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility are aligned.

As Product Owner, you will own the product backlog, prioritize features based on value and impact, and work closely with the Technical Architect, UX Lead, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality, timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for web and mobile applications
  • Translate business goals and user needs into well-defined product initiatives and outcomes
  • Continuously assess product performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Backlog Management & Delivery

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development
  • Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on business value, user impact, and effort
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the UX Lead and UX/UI Designers to ensure user-centered solutions are defined before development
  • Partner with the Technical Architect and engineering teams to align requirements with technical constraints and architectural decisions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, gathering requirements and managing expectations
  • Facilitate alignment across Product, UX, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams

Discovery & Validation

  • Collaborate on user research, discovery workshops, and design thinking sessions
  • Validate ideas through prototypes, MVPs, and user feedback before full-scale development
  • Use data, analytics, and customer insights to inform product decisions
  • Define success metrics and track outcomes post-release

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and quality standards
  • Accept or reject completed work based on agreed acceptance criteria
  • Continuously refine processes to improve team efficiency and product outcomes

Required Skills & Experience Product & Agile Expertise

  • Strong experience working as a Product Owner or similar product role in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize backlogs for complex digital products
  • Experience writing high-quality user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

Business & Communication Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance business priorities, user needs, and technical constraints
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Confident presenter and facilitator of workshops and product discussions

UX & Technical Awareness

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX processes
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers on wireframes, flows, and prototypes
  • Good understanding of modern web and mobile application development (APIs, front-end/back-end concepts)
  • Ability to work effectively with technical architects and development teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles
  • Experience delivering web and mobile applications at scale
  • Background working in cross-functional teams with UX and engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
