SUMMARY: The Aviation Technician II must demonstrate high mechanical aptitude and will inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft components while maintaining a safe work environment and following all company and federal regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
•Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft fuel equipment.
•Perform and document work performed according to the appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
•Maintain all shop-calibrated tools in satisfactory operational conditions.
•Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical and regulatory data.
•Perform work assignments as determined by the shop lead.
•Uses appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being inspected.
•Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
•Records information and accomplishes the assignments in compliance with the inspection procedures manual in quality policies and procedures.
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
•Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
•Other duties as assigned.
