Position Summary

 

The QA Engineer leads testing strategy and quality assurance for GSA’s internal HR systems. This role develops test plans, drives automation, mentors junior testers, and ensures high quality releases across complex, multiteam environments.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive testing strategies for complex HR applications and integrations.


• Develop test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.


• Mentor junior testers and establish QA best practices and standards.


• Perform specialized testing, including performance, security, and accessibility.


• Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, releases, and environments.


• Analyze quality metrics and recommend improvements to processes and product quality.


• Design and implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
