Job Description

As the visionary leader of our digital future, the Director of Innovation and Technology will define and drive a transformative agenda that elevates every facet of our business. You’ll partner with executive leadership to chart a technology strategy that fuels growth, disrupts the status quo, and positions us as an industry pioneer.

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities

  • Define the Technology Vision & Roadmap

Partner with the C-Suite to articulate and continuously refine a bold, long-term digital transformation strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and drives measurable business outcomes.
  • Innovate, Pilot & Scale

Evaluate emerging technologies—AI/ML, low-code/no-code platforms, and other disruptive tools—and establish governance frameworks to pilot, measure ROI, and scale proven solutions across the enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture Stewardship

Lead the evolution and optimization of our core platforms (ERP or Power BI) into a cohesive, future-proof ecosystem that accelerates agility, reduces technical debt, and supports seamless integrations.
  • Process Automation & AI-Powered Solutions

Identify, design, and execute end-to-end automation strategies—leveraging Microsoft Power Automate, AI bots, and custom scripting—to streamline back-office functions and elevate operational efficiency.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making

Champion a data-centric culture by defining governance models, KPIs, and executive dashboards; develop and maintain real-time Power BI reports that translate insights into strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Integration

Inspire and align global teams (IT, development, operations, business stakeholders) to execute integrated technology initiatives that enhance collaboration, improve workflows, and unlock competitive advantage.
  • Innovation Governance & Portfolio Management

Design and oversee processes for ideation, prioritization, funding, and risk assessment of high-impact technology investments, ensuring every project advances our strategic imperatives on time and on budget.
  • Risk, Security & Compliance Oversight

Embed rigorous security, privacy, and compliance protocols into all digital initiatives—conduct regular risk assessments, partner with legal/infosec teams, and enforce industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development

Mentor, manage, and expand a high-performance team of IT professionals and app developers; cultivate a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration that attracts and retains top technologists.
  • Market Research & Strategic Partnerships

Stay ahead of market trends by evaluating new software, platforms, and alliance opportunities; lead vendor negotiations and strategic tech partnerships to maximize value and innovation.
  • Execution Excellence

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all technology initiatives—ensuring they are on schedule, within budget, and adhere to quality and security standards—while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a leadership role focused on innovation, system implementation, and process improvement.
  • Proven track record with AI tools, ERP systems, Power BI, Power Automate, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with a passion for improving operational efficiency through technology.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and technical execution.
