Description
Evening hours required
Administrative and clinical activities necessary in the provision of admissions services for persons of substance use disorders who are entering outpatient services. No supervisory responsibilities.
JOB DUTIES
- Primarily plans and conducts individual and group counseling sessions with assigned clients as ordered on the Individualized Treatment Plan.
- Completes written client evaluations, notes and reports in a neat and timely manner as needed.
- Prepares specific reports as requested or assigned.
- Maintains up-to-date written documentation of client contact in individual client folders as required by agency documentation guidelines.
- Performs administrative duties relevant to client services.
- Performs related duties as required.
- May conducts intakes and assessments on new admissions and recommends placement into services based on ASAM criteria.
- May develops an Individualized Treatment Plan along with client input.
- Makes referrals to external agencies or internal programs as appropriate for the identified client.
- Maintains effective working relationships with external agencies through regular case management and other community liaison activities.
- Actively supports ERI values of acknowledgment, commitment, openness, celebration, and humility.
- Actively support a trauma informed and responsive work environment as demonstrated in the 5 core values of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
- Actively supports and implements Motivational Interviewing as the program’s core evidence based practice.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human service area from accredited institution with successful completion of ADC process within 3 years of hire. Master's degree preferred.
