The ASICS Creation Center, LLC is ASICS Corporation’s product creation office based in Boston, MA.  This organization, founded on May 1, 2024, is dedicated to driving innovation and elevating product creation to new heights. The team sits across all areas of the product creation process, supporting the following areas: Innovation, Performance Running, Sportstyle, and Core Performance Sports

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Test Analyst for Performance Footwear will work with the ASICS product creation team to lead footwear product fit and wear testing, as well as future innovation testing. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the testing process: recruiting testers and running tests, analyzing the results, and submitting reports to appropriate members on the running category team. 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with product category teams to build and develop a comprehensive testing calendar.
• Recruit and manage a comprehensive wear-testing database to be able to sufficiently test all running products. Testing database must adequately represent all running consumer groups.
• Conduct all testing around pre-determined testing standards.
• Collect, review, and analyze testing results. Analysis of results should include thorough reporting that presents strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
• Manage external testing partner communication and relationships to ensure alignment with project timelines and PM requests.
• Receive, organize, and coordinate shipment of wear-test samples for both domestic and international testing initiatives, maintaining accurate inventory and tracking systems.
• Collaborate with Legal to develop and implement global testing waivers and manage DocuSign execution across all testing projects to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Support the creation of structured test plans beyond standard wear testing, such as perception studies, competitor benchmarking, and controlled product comparisons.
• Help analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and deliver concise summaries that connect test findings to product recommendations for development, design, and PM teams.
• Contribute to the development of lab testing processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data management systems as ACC scales its research capabilities.
• Assist across other categories with testing and analysis that feeds both seasonal product creation and longer-horizon innovation projects.
• Serve as the ACC liaison for lab and performance testing conducted by ISS, helping translate technical findings into actionable insights that inform and guide the ACC creation teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Sensory Analysis, Scientific Test Design and Analysis, Biomechanics or Engineering or related field
• 2 years' experience in the footwear industry working in product testing and/or product creation.
• Demonstrated experience using statistical analysis procedures, collecting, and analyzing data, and making recommendations.
• Understanding of footwear materials, fit, function, and consumer requirements.
