Position Summary:

The Technical Project Manager is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing large-scale, high-impact projects with a strong focus on technical execution and system integration. This position leads cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.

The Technical Project Manager ensures alignment with organizational goals while managing scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality solutions, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence. Travel up to 30% is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
 • Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
 • Oversee project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope and objectives.
 • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
 • Ensure all deliverables meet NAVCO quality standards and customer expectations.

Technical Leadership & Integration

• Oversee technical aspects of projects, including system design, integration, and implementation.
 • Provide subject matter expertise in security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
 • Ensure compatibility and performance across multiple platforms and technologies.
 • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams to drive successful technical outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
 • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and status reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
 • Manage customer expectations and proactively address challenges or escalations.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Track and report on project performance metrics, timelines, and financials.
 • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
 • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Mentor and support junior team members and technicians.
 • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment.
 • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in a technical or security integration environment.
 • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on field or technician experience.
 • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
 • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
 • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
 • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
 • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
 • Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills.
 • Technical proficiency with systems such as Brivo, DMP, March Networks, Hanwha, OpenEye, and Axis.
