Collision Estimator
Location: Oakes Collision | Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full - Time | Monday - Friday
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 plus annually
About the Role
The Collision Estimator plays a key role in managing the repair process from start to finish, acting as the main point of contact between customers, insurance companies, and the shop. This position is responsible for writing estimates, tracking repairs, and ensuring a smooth, timely experience for every customer. What You’ll Do
Manage vehicles through the full repair process from intake to completion
Communicate with customers to provide updates on repair status and timelines
Write and submit accurate estimates to insurance companies
Coordinate with technicians and production teams to keep repairs on track
Maintain organization across multiple repair orders and ensure timely delivery

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who can confidently manage multiple vehicles and repair orders at once. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can build trust with customers while working effectively with insurance partners and internal teams. This person is self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on delivering a smooth, high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a standard background check
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
