Responsibilities
Coordinates elements of the design, development, and implementation of quality professional learning and development experiences for OnRamps Instructors using adult learning and design principles to ensure fidelity of implementation of the OnRamps experience.
Implements the design and continuous improvement process for inducting new and returning OnRamps Instructors, including communication and customer service strategies, application status and registration tracking systems, and mechanisms to support self-service for stakeholders throughout the year.
Applies standard evaluation and data analysis procedures to monitor, evaluate, and document Instructor engagement and outcomes that impact student experiences.
Collaborates with members of the Instructional Innovation team to ensure quality and alignment of the Instructor experience that promotes student learning through college content, innovative pedagogy, technology-enhanced education, and an aligned college experience. Maintains systems and provide solutions for functional process enhancement opportunities, efficiencies, and cross-team reporting, tracking, and monitoring mechanisms to enhance the Instructor experience.
Implements effective and consistent communication strategies and tools aligned with the OnRamps branding and marketing materials to coordinate the delivery of professional learning experiences with both internal and external stakeholders. Develops and maintains effective working relationships by providing exceptional customer service and cross-team collaboration with professionalism, positivity, accuracy, tact, and decorum.
Supports the Professional Learning Manager and Associate Director of Instructional Innovation and Implementation on special projects as assigned that increase opportunities for OnRamps as an organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Experience facilitating professional learning to adults
Three or more years teaching experience at a high school
Proficient in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or another LMS
Proficient at using spreadsheets to track and guide work
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders with decorum and tact.
Strong attention to detail and coordinating logistics
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Experience coordinating Professional Learning Events
Experience providing support or instructional coaching to teachers
Proficient in Smartsheet or other Project Management system
Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences using a respectful, client-focused approach
Five or more years teaching experience at a high school or college level.
Experience in distance learning
Experience with instructional design
Salary Range
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
Requires 5% travel throughout the state of Texas as well as ongoing weekend and evening work to support instructors and course implementation, including during summer, spring, and fall professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines.
May be required to work evenings and weekends during critical times.
May work around standard office conditions.
