POSITION FUNCTION/PURPOSE
Assist the counselors in the preparation of student material in the areas of scheduling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Basic typing
2. Alphabetize and file materials
3. Work with co-workers, Teachers and students
4. List all compiled information
5. Receive and process mail pertaining to the counselor’s office
6. Keep neat and orderly records
7. Accurately enter data into the computer, transcripts current and historical, eligibility, reclassification, PEIMS
data.
8. Assist in preparation for standardized testing
9. Student updates, A+ grades input, PRC filing.
10. Prepare and mail interim progress reports.
11. Provide information to students and parents in person.
12. Performs PEIMS data functions as assigned by principal
13. Perform all related duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. The ability to read and write acceptable English
3. Typing skills
4. Computer skills
