

Senior Tender Manager

for a Senior Tender Manager in Roissy CDG (Paris), France.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Senior Tender Manager, you are overall responsible for developing and leading the function on a local level, ensuring our deugro Paris office is in position to submit tender documentation of highest quality with industry leading technical solutions and competitive pricing, ultimately leading to contract awards
- Assist with pre-tender activities, early works and efforts to support or contribute to the development and preparation of strategic tender responses
- Leading named strategic French Tenders in all aspects, including but not limited to technical concept, commercial strategy, and preparation of technical and commercial bid documentation of highest quality, in a timely manner
- Ensuring deugro’s Paris office is in position to submit Tender documents of highest industry standards, enabling further success and growth
- Manage Tendering related processes, strategies, and tools in cooperation and coordination of Sales and Business Development, Marketing, and other related functions
- Lead or assist on strategic Tenders and MSA’s (ITT/RFI/RFQ and similar) in cooperation with global / regional / local sales, business development and tendering teams and other internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the worldwide and regional sales teams in the bid presentation and negotiation process in strategic key Tenders
- Taking strategic commercial decisions in close coordination with country / regional management
- Reviewing contract terms and condition, identifying, describing, and assessing risks and proposing measures to avoid or limit them
- Implementation and onboarding of business by developing SOPs and coordinating with operations or the project team for execution
- Lead or assist with conducting postmortems with the client and Sales and Business Development teams
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- +5 years’ experience in a management position in sales and tendering within the project logistics industry
- Proven track record of creating high-quality commercial and contractual proposals / offers and tender documents
- Highly motivated and proactive leader who can lead strategies and processes
- Experience in successfully leading and developing people as well as managing function
- Capable of strategic thinking and decision making, with high sense of responsibility
- Driven for continuous improvement, development, and success
- Good technical and in-depth commercial knowledge and understanding in international freight forwarding covering all transport modes
- Strong IT skills and focus, including MS Office package and other relevant software
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment, while remaining focused under pressure
- Analytical and well-structured approach, able to multi-task
- Attention to detail while being capable of understanding the big picture
- Full professional proficiency in English – both spoken and written
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally, when required
- Excellent commercial understanding including commercial acumen enabling the Tender Manager to produce winning Tenders
- Full professional proficiency in French and English – both spoken and written
