POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is aligned to the Technical Project Manager (TPM) CLIN and provides senior-level DoDAF and Enterprise Architecture Subject Matter Expertise in support of USSOCOM Front Office priorities. This position is located at MacDill AFB, FL.
The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise architecture products that support decision-making, capability development, and compliance across the USSOCOM Information Environment (SIE).
While contractually aligned as a Technical Project Manager, the primary functional responsibility of this role is to lead and deliver DoDAF and enterprise architecture products, ensuring they are developed, coordinated, and delivered in accordance with Government priorities, schedules, and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Functional Focus – DoDAF & Enterprise Architecture
• Serve as the lead DoDAF Architect for assigned USSOCOM initiatives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise and capability architecture products supporting JCIDS, SOFCIDS, SOCREB, and JROC processes.
• Produce fit-for-purpose architecture views aligned with CIO and Front Office priorities.
• Capture and maintain current-state (“as-is”) architectures across enterprise services, networks, and data centers.
• Assess proposed architectures for compliance, interoperability, and impact to the USSOCOM Information Environment (SIE).
• Support CJADC2 architecture modeling, integration, and standardized documentation.
Delivery & Coordination – Technical Project Management Functions
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of architecture products across multiple stakeholders.
• Develop schedules, milestones, and deliverable tracking for architecture-related efforts.
• Coordinate inputs from technical leads, Component Commands, TSOCs, and Joint partners.
• Manage architecture scope changes, risks, dependencies, and integration impacts.
• Provide status updates, executive briefs, and progress reviews to Government leadership.
• Maintain architecture documentation, version control, and publication schedules.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
• Min eight (8) or more years supporting Department of Defense programs, including enterprise architecture and technical integration efforts.
• Demonstrated experience delivering DoDAF architecture products within complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
• Experience coordinating technical efforts across Government, contractor, and Joint organizations.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer, technology, engineering, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or strongly preferred.
• DoDAF, TOGAF, or other enterprise architecture certifications preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
Core duty hours align with USSOCOM command hours, Monday through Friday. Availability for extended hours, on-call support, and weekend work may be required to support mission needs. CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
