We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Human Resources, to join our human resources team. This position reports to the Managing Director, Human Resources. The Senior Associate, Human Resources will have the following generalist, payroll, and benefit responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Manage all aspects of semi-monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing and reporting.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HRIS.
- Run reports and queries to support quarter-end and year-end activities, audits, and ongoing payroll analysis.
- Oversee year-end processing, including reconciliations, W-2 distribution, special payments, and adjustments.
- Serve as liaison with payroll provider.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment strategies and initiatives.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business objectives and role requirements.
- Develop and execute recruiting and interview plans; identify effective sourcing strategies.
- Proactively source, identify, and engage passive and active candidates using innovative methods, including networking, social media, and outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Gather and share interview feedback; coordinate next steps.
- Facilitate the new employee experience by sending new hire communication, conducting orientation, and processing onboarding materials.
Summer Internship Program
- Manage the SIFMA Summer Intern Program, including:
- Identifying headcount needs; screening, interviewing, and hiring interns.
- Planning and coordinating weekly Intern 101 sessions, intern lunches, and field trips.
- Conduct exit interviews and administer the annual intern survey, analyzing results.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide advice and counsel to employees on employee relations issues, policies, and practices.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of human resources experience required.
- SHRM – CP Certification preferred.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to proactively communicate and build partnerships at all levels.
- Ability to manage confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Must have experience with an HRIS, UKG Ready experience a plus.

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000
