Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Landfill Manager, the landfill worker performs general light duty jobs as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

Fueling the equipment.

Cleaning up litter/garbage from fence lines.

Stacking items for recycling.

Monitoring green waste for contamination and cleaning.

Directing customers where to dump.

Assisting with ScaleHouse duties.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• This is an entry level position, requiring no minimum amount of education or experience
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Qualifications:

Must be at least 17 years old

Must have a valid Utah Driver's License

Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre-employment drug test
