Description

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving worker at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be responsible for reading production schedules, and maintaining product flow to our high volume production line.

Shift Available

Night Shift 2:50pm – 11pm (12 Hour Rotating Schedule)

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, prioritize and determine product needed and feed coating line with glass according to paperwork specifications.
• Prepare and move racks to working areas as determined by production schedule.
• Prepare and organize box closing areas based on product specifications.
• Ensure all required paperwork is attached to rack/A-frame prior to staging for box close and shipment.
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
• Ensure safety measures are taking place at all times.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment background, physical & drug screening process. 
• Forklift certification or experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Wear PPE as required, including steal toe work boots.
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
• Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tool and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
