Job Summary:

Provides excellent customer service in an informative, courteous, and professional manner to the public, students, faculty, and staff of the Adult Enrichment Program. Provides general office support, including document creation, data entry, emails, and phone calls. Assists faculty and administrators in developing, preparing for, conducting, and analyzing non-credit instructional programs for adults.

The Adult Enrichment office is located at LCC East, 2827 Eyde Parkway, East Lansing. Work at West Campus, Downtown campus, and other locations is required on an as-needed-basis and incumbents must have the ability to travel between campuses. Work is generally Monday through Friday during business hours. However, work during evening hours or weekends is required on an as-needed basis.


Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.


LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan.


Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.






Required Qualifications:

Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of educational and/or work experience.

Excellent written communication skills.

Significant work experience in a customer service role.

Demonstrated work experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel OR Google Docs and Google Sheets.






Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated work experience in an office environment.
