Position Summary


The Clinical Research Assistant will support multiple active research studies within Dr. Fuemmeler’s lab, with a primary focus on community outreach, patient engagement, and research communications. The role spans several funded projects and requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate project communications across the lab’s portfolio, including developing and disseminating research newsletters and stakeholder updates

  • Serve as a community liaison for the LEGO (THRIVE at Home) project, supporting outreach efforts to cancer survivorship communities and underserved populations

  • Provide research coordination support for the ACCERT project, including tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation


Support IRB documentation, data collection activities, and reporting as needed across projects


Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Public Health

  • Experience in community engagement, program coordination, or health research

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field


Salary Range: $25/hr
