Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS in Human Resources Management or relevant fieldwork with a minimum of 2 years is in a union environment
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
- Advanced familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
- Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
- Willing to work under tight deadlines and maintain exceptional judgment and discretion regarding sensitive matters.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships at all levels across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of effectiveness.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS software, Outlook, Teams, Monday.com
