What You Will Do:

In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician, following established nursing, clinical, and organizational protocols to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver comprehensive direct patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning
  • Perform delegated medical procedures and interventions within established scope of practice
  • Document patient assessments, progress notes, and care plans in the medical record
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Order, review, and interpret laboratory, respiratory, and radiology results
  • Assist with patient stabilization and demonstrate sound clinical judgment in critical situations
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, hospitalization, and discharge planning
  • Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with patients, families, and care teams
  • Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities
  • Serve as a clinical resource, role model, and educator for nursing staff
  • Maintain professional competence through continued education, in-services, and training
  • Adhere to all HIPAA privacy standards and patient safety requirements
