Upway is the #1 platform for refurbished e-bikes. We take used bikes and make them move like new. We launched our second German Upcenter in Stuttgart, and we need a hands-on E-Bike Logistics Associate to join the team.
This isn't a desk job. You will be on the workshop floor, taking ownership of the bikes from the moment they arrive until they are shipped to a happy customer.
What you will do
- Incoming Intake: Receiving, unboxing, and organizing new bike arrivals for the workshop and performing initial inspections (battery check, mileage verification, condition review) and logging bikes into our system
- Premium Detailing: Deep-cleaning and aesthetic refurbishment to meet our "Like New" standard
- Photos: Taking high-quality product photos and entering the bike’s physical specifications into our online system before listing it in stock
- Final Quality Check: Acting as the last line of defense—ensuring every bike is clean, safe, and packed with the correct chargers/manuals
- Shipping & Logistics: Securely boxing refurbished e-bikes and coordinating with carriers to ensure they leave the warehouse on time
- Workshop Flow: Moving bikes between stations ( Mechanics → Cleaning → Shipping ) to keep the line moving
What you will need
- Physical Stamina: You enjoy being active and are comfortable moving bikes and handling shipping crates
- Attention to Detail: You treat every bike as if it were your own - from the shine of the frame to the security of the shipping tape
- Reliability: You are the "anchor" of the shop. When you're there, bikes ship on time
- Basic Tech Skills: Ability to use a smartphone/tablet app to log shipping labels and bike status
- Cultural fit: You can work independently, communicate clearly, and bring a flexible, hands-on mindset while being a strong team player
- Language: Basic English or German
