SUMMARY

The Inspector perform inspection tasks across Denmark, including offshore Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations lasting multiple days. The role requires a strong focus on safety, problem-solving, and effective communication with operational teams at various installations and refineries. The Inspector must work independently while following company procedures and contribute to continuous improvements in inspection processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct independent inspection tasks for Saybolt Danmark throughout the country, including offshore STS operations.
Ensure that safety is an integrated part of all work processes.
Perform technical inspection tasks within areas of expertise and training.
Gather relevant data and insights to improve future operations.
Report any irregularities encountered during inspection tasks.
Maintain contact with operational departments at various installations and refineries to ensure smooth cooperation.
Seek practical solutions to problems arising during inspections.
Stay updated on industry developments and implement new technologies when relevant.
Participate and contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
Work independently in accordance with Saybolt Danmark’s and Core Laboratories rules, procedures, and guidelines.
Be proactive in suggesting improvements across company activities.
Handle special requests from internal and external stakeholders in cooperation with management.
Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field.
To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Maritime technical education, e.g., Ship Captain or Marine Engineer.
Experience on tankers is preferred; alternatively, experience from refineries or oil installations is relevant.
Ability to communicate effectively with third parties on business matters.
Capability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

KVALIFIKATIONER

Maritim teknisk uddannelse, fx skibskaptajn eller maskinmester.
Erfaring fra tankskibe foretrækkes; alternativt relevant erfaring fra raffinaderier eller olieinstallationer.
Evne til at kommunikere effektivt med tredjeparter om forretningsmæssige forhold.
Evne til at dele viden og ekspertise med kolleger.
Stærke skriftlige og mundtlige engelskkundskaber.
