We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care, and supporting a positive team culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience such as Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Assistant Unit Manager, or RN Team Leader who is ready to step into a Unit Manager role.
Our RN Unit Manager plays a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting nurses and CNAs, and ensuring regulatory compliance within our skilled nursing facility.
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities
• Supervise and support Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
• Manage daily clinical operations of the nursing unit
• Ensure compliance with long-term care and skilled nursing regulations
• Review documentation, care plans, and resident assessments
• Provide coaching and leadership to nursing staff
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and interdisciplinary team
• Monitor quality of care and clinical outcomes
RN Unit Manager Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care required
- Previous Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or RN leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
