JAC Products, a leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier, is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team in Napoleon, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of equipment in our state-of-the-art 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Your Contributions:
- Responsible for maintaining, setting up, and operating equipment.
- Perform fabrication of parts/equipment.
- Respond to service calls to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine problems and determine proper corrective action.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, as well as problem solving retrofits and emergency repairs
- Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Maintain parts inventory for common replaceable items and daily recordkeeping within JAC Products computer maintenance management software (CMMS)
What you need as a Maintenance Technician:
- Six (6) years of demonstrated competency in industrial maintenance
- Vocational Certificate, Associate's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge PLCs preferred
- Basic knowledge of robotics a plus
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
