Job Description

The Enterprise Technology Services organization partners with every part of the American Express business to power the company’s growth and innovation with trust and efficiency, and drive competitive differentiation with speed. We support the delivery and operations of technology, digital, and data capabilities, platforms, and services globally. Specifically, our team is responsible for the company’s technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure, providing 24x7 support to ensure an uninterrupted, high-quality experience for customers and colleagues. We also provide product management for core enterprise platforms, and lead technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager to work in our International Shop team and help to deliver an exciting vision. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end capabilities that enable key shopping acquisition journeys, including their optimisation and growth through experimentation. 

 

You will:

  • Innovate through collaboration, research, and analysis to continuously define a pipeline of new features that enhance the experience and improve key priorities & desired outcomes to support Enterprise goals
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive informed decisions, experimentation, and product strategy
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer experience, researching and analysing user experience data and analytics to identify and quantify opportunity areas
  • Continuously engage with partners to maintain product transparency, build trust, and address challenges

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading and inspiring a digital product software development team

  • Proven prioritization skills and an ability to work in a dynamic environment with a fast pace and changing needs

  • Experience in building and managing global digital products built for scale and reusability 

  • In depth knowledge and demonstrated experience of agile processes and principles

  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to build positive relationships, influence decisions and make things happen

  • Highly organized, self-starter, comfortable working in white space

  • Attention to detail and a keen understanding of data and analytics
