Experience & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments 
  • Present treatment plans and clearly explain financial options to parents/guardians 
  • Process insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, and resolve discrepancies 
  • Collect and post patient payments, maintaining accurate financial records 
  • Coordinate payment plans and assist families with financing options
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements

  • 2+ years of dental insurance/financial coordination experience preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processes 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred
