Job Description

About Us:

All God's Children (AGC)** is a nationally accredited, private, not-for-profit corporation that has been nurturing the spirit and building the character of children and families since 1999 (kyagc.org).

AGC is looking for a part-time toddler room teacher (ages range from < 1- 2 yrs.) Approx. 25 to 30 hours a week. Flexible hours can be negotiated.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience working with children
  • Prefer CDA certification
  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Prefer understanding of childhood trauma and supportive strategies
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must work well with children and have the energy and flexibility to meet the changing needs of children.
  • Infant and child CPR/First Aid (will be provided by AGC upon employment)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs (infant-2 years of age)
  • Plan and execute indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
  • Interacting with children or infants both physically and verbally throughout the day
  • Clean and organize classroom
  • Must have a passion for working with babies and children!
