What You’ll Do
As a Convenience Store Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while keeping store operations running smoothly:
- Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
- Operate POS system / cash register (cash, credit cards, EBT, prepaid cards, lottery, checks)
- Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies
- Maintain compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fuel regulations
- Support food safety standards and cleanliness requirements
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Perform cleaning, merchandising, and daily store tasks
- Assist with maintaining a safe, organized retail environment
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, customer service, or food service is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer/POS skills
- Reliable attendance and flexible availability
Training & Certifications
- TankSmart Certification (Level C) – training provided
