Advance your career with RQ Construction as a Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) supporting a large-scale ambulatory care and dental clinic project located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This role is part of our Field Operations team and requires on-site participation.
The CQCM is responsible for developing and administering a project-specific quality control plan. This includes ensuring all work complies with contractual standards, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, coordinating quality activities across the project team, and fostering strong client relationships-all while reflecting RQ's core values.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a salary range of $130,000-$160,000, along with a comprehensive international assignment package. Benefits include employer-provided housing for you and eligible dependents, a company vehicle, covered utilities, and company-paid quarterly travel to your home location. Basic Requirements
Applicants must have prior experience as a Quality Control Manager on healthcare construction projects, be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, and possess a valid passport.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction (or equivalent), including roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or QC Manager
- At least 2 years of direct experience serving as a Quality Control Manager
- Active USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification required; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred (training available)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred)
- Specialized inspection certifications and licenses are highly desirable
- Previous work on medical or healthcare facilities strongly preferred
- LEED Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) or Green Associate credentials are a plus
- Required certifications include EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour (training available if needed)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS preferred
