About this Position
In this position, you lead the discounter channel strategy, oversee key commercial levers, and manage strategic customer relationships. You drive execution excellence, guide a high-performing team, and use data and market insights to identify growth opportunities.What you´ll do
- Define
and execute the Discounter channel strategy, ensuring alignment with
regional & global frameworks and commercial priorities - Lead
the Channel Excellence agenda, driving transformational initiatives that
elevate execution quality and sales performance - Oversee
core commercial levers in the discounter environment: pricing, assortment,
shelving, trade terms, and promotions - Steer
channel KPIs and performance dashboards; ensure data-driven
decision-making and regional price governance - Build
and maintain strategic partnerships with key discounter customer, acting
as a senior commercial sponsor - Provide
shopper- and consumer-centric strategic guidance to top clients within the
discounter ecosystem - Lead
and develop the team; ensure strong governance, compliance, and flawless
execution in store and at HQ level - Monitor
market dynamics and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
within the discounter channel
What makes you a good fit
- BSc/BA
degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related
field - 10+
years of experience in Key Account Management and/or Channel Management
within the FMCG industry, preferably with strong exposure to discounter
retailers - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and
sustain relationships at all organizational levels, internally and
externally - Excellent
oral and written communication skills in English; able to effectively
engage with senior management and international stakeholders - Self-driven,
confident, and influential professional with strong leadership
capabilities and strategic decision-making skills - Advanced
proficiency in MS Office applications; strong analytical literacy - Valid
driving license required
