About this Position

In this position, you lead the discounter channel strategy, oversee key commercial levers, and manage strategic customer relationships. You drive execution excellence, guide a high-performing team, and use data and market insights to identify growth opportunities. 

What you´ll do

  • Define
    and execute the Discounter channel strategy, ensuring alignment with
    regional & global frameworks and commercial priorities
  • Lead
    the Channel Excellence agenda, driving transformational initiatives that
    elevate execution quality and sales performance
  • Oversee
    core commercial levers in the discounter environment: pricing, assortment,
    shelving, trade terms, and promotions
  • Steer
    channel KPIs and performance dashboards; ensure data-driven
    decision-making and regional price governance
  • Build
    and maintain strategic partnerships with key discounter customer, acting
    as a senior commercial sponsor
  • Provide
    shopper- and consumer-centric strategic guidance to top clients within the
    discounter ecosystem
  • Lead
    and develop the team; ensure strong governance, compliance, and flawless
    execution in store and at HQ level
  • Monitor
    market dynamics and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
    within the discounter channel

What makes you a good fit

  • BSc/BA
    degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related
    field
  • 10+
    years of experience in Key Account Management and/or Channel Management
    within the FMCG industry, preferably with strong exposure to discounter
    retailers
  • Strong
    communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and
    sustain relationships at all organizational levels, internally and
    externally
  • Excellent
    oral and written communication skills in English; able to effectively
    engage with senior management and international stakeholders
  • Self-driven,
    confident, and influential professional with strong leadership
    capabilities and strategic decision-making skills
  • Advanced
    proficiency in MS Office applications; strong analytical literacy
  • Valid
    driving license required
