How You'll Contribute to Our Success
As our Senior Key Account Manager, you will be a strategic commercial leader who drives revenue growth, margin expansion, and platform penetration within a defined channel portfolio. In this role, you will own the management of our base business, the expansion of our pipeline within existing accounts, and the targeted acquisition of new accounts. Your executive-level customer engagement, scientific fluency, and cross-functional orchestration will be instrumental in positioning Gnosis as a premium, science-backed branded ingredient partner.
What You’ll do as a Senior Key Account Manager
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Lesaffre's safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs
- Strategic Account Ownership
- Manage designated Strategic and Growth accounts within the assigned channel
- Develop multi-year growth plans aligned to customer innovation roadmaps
- Build executive-level relationships across innovation, procurement, regulatory, and marketing functions
- Lead joint business planning processes where appropriate
- Base Business Management
- Protect and grow existing revenue
- Drive portfolio cross-sell opportunities across ingredient families
- Maintain pricing discipline and margin integrity
- Collaborate with Customer Success Manager on demand planning and order continuity
- Pipeline Development
- Identify new ingredient opportunities within existing customers
- Engage early in formulation cycles
- Advance opportunities through structured CRM pipeline stages
- Coordinate technical, regulatory, and marketing support to accelerate conversion
- Target Account Acquisition
- Maintain a defined target account list
- Develop structured penetration strategies
- Engage strategic prospects aligned with channel growth priorities
- Drive new logo acquisition aligned to portfolio strategy
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Orchestrate R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Marketing support for key initiatives
- Escalate strategic opportunities through appropriate governance forums
- Align internally to ensure high execution velocity
- Forecasting & Commercial Discipline
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene
- Provide reliable revenue forecasting
- Deliver against revenue and margin targets
- Contribute to annual business planning process
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, functional foods, sales, or a related discipline
- 7–12+ years of experience in nutraceutical, specialty ingredient, or B2B health-related sales
- Proven track record managing $5M+ strategic account portfolios
- Ability to navigate scientific and regulatory discussions
- Experience managing complex, long sales cycles
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems, sales automation tools, and data analytics
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within North America
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling into DTC, Practitioner, MLM, or CPG brands is strongly desired
- Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
