Job Description

Supports and influences strategic direction through executing integration between procurement, materials management, marketing, and other business functions. Responsible for systems support for Arkieva reports, Safety stock reviews, RM holds and freight efficiencies. Supports increased responsibility in SKU complexity (New SKUs, short shelf-life items, and long lead time items). Expert of the Oracle and ASCP systems and project lead.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and continually improve new SKU stratification and drives Material Managements strategic agenda.
  • Generate the appropriate data and analysis for Materials Management team.
  • Continuous improvement: develop, process map, and document instructions for solutions and work processes.
  • Develops and communicates strategies for tracking and supporting Arkieva reporting, safety stock reviews, RM holds and freight efficiencies. 
  • Collaborates with Category Managers, suppliers, and internal customers to execute the inbound supply chain (including Supplier Managed Inventory). Develop processes and measures for ensuring continuous improvement for the established supply chain vision and goals.
  • Actively participates and contributes to projects directly impacting the materials management team or any raw material across any of the current manufacturing facilities.
  • Collaborates with Manager of Procurement Inventory and other cross functional team members to execute both short and long-term projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with a concentration in Supply Chain, Management, or Logistics.
  • 3-5 years prior relevant and/or supervisor experience preferred.
  • Awareness and understanding of supply chain and the interrelationship between procurement and business functions. 
  • Proactive mind-set of Continuous Improvement and resource optimization. 
  • Professionally develops and adds value through the completion of a purchasing certification program. 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills. 
  • Effective project management and leadership skills. 
  • Work independently, problem solve, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to analyze root cause, multi-task and communicate needs with urgency and respect.
