Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will monitor security protocols for the protection of the organization’s computer networks, information systems and sensitive data.

Responsibilities:

• Review and manage security alerts and incidents
• Assess threats to the organization and perform incident investigation Support the organization in the event of a cyber security breach
• Create process and procedures, “Run Books” for managing reoccurring alerts
• Collect and create information security metrics

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient, or able to gain proficiency with, a broad array of security software applications and tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Programming, or a related field required.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in computer systems with some specialization in computer security highly preferred. Previous SOC analyst a plus
