Job Description

The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University is seeking adjunct instructors for undergraduate, on campus, in-person sports media courses in the Visual and Sound Media Program. Courses of particular interest are Introduction to Sports Media.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Teach up to two sections of the Sports Media courses, as assigned. Course schedules vary with sections meeting either once or twice per week.

Required Qualifications:



  • Master’s degree in Sports Media

  • Relevant experience in instructional settings

  • Experience in the sports media industry


Desired Qualifications:



  • PhD in Sports Media or Media Studies

  • Two years of teaching experience in higher education


Salary Range:


Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree

  • Exempt
