Job Description

Position: Robotics Field Engineer (Vietnam)
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and collect technical requirements prior to robot deployment.
  • Deploy AMR solutions at customer sites (including setup, mapping, and commissioning).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to SW and HW
  • Configure network settings and define operational scenarios.
  • Support basic integrations with PLC, conveyors, auto-doors, and MES/API systems.
  • Collect system logs and collaborate with HQ engineering for advanced problem-solving.
  • Communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth Proof of Concept (PoC) and ongoing operations.

Qualifications
- Required

  • Experience: 3+ years in robotics, automation, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Skills: Proven track record in field troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux environments and networking protocols.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (working-level) for reporting and communication.

- Preferred

  • Prior experience with AMR/AGV systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC / I/O logic and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Background in factory automation environments.

  • Independence: Ability to stabilize robot operations on-site without constant supervision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Identifying root causes rather than applying temporary "band-aid" fixes.
  • Effective Liaison: Acting as a professional bridge between customer requirements and HQ’s technical capabilities.
