Saint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Dean of Students for the 2026-27 school year. 

 

The Dean of Students plays a vital role in fostering a Christ-centered, safe, and supportive learning environment for students. This position focuses on student behavior management, discipline, character formation, and student well-being, ensuring alignment with the Catholic values and mission of the school. In addition, the Dean of Students oversees key operational responsibilities, including master scheduling support, coordination of daily school activities, and supervision of duties to ensure the smooth and orderly functioning of the school day.

The Dean of Students collaborates closely with the Principal, Assistant Principal, faculty, parents, and students to promote positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and student success, while also ensuring that daily routines and logistics support an environment conducive to learning.

Requirements

All permanent professional personnel employed at Saint Bridget School must have a degree and be certified in their content area by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills, both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.

 

This is a full-time, 11-month position (Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30, August through June).
