Position Duties
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, administrative services, or any combination of education and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for successful performance.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements:
**Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications, subject to approval by the DPH Chief Human Resources Officer, or their delegate.**

Minimum Qualifications
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing management of public records access for South Carolina agencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document redaction.
• Ability to use FOI program management software and track productivity metrics.
• Ability to analyze data and information to support decision making and problem solving.
• Ability to understand and apply agency policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and program services.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within the FOI Office and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet legal requirements and deadlines.
• Ability to use sound judgment, maintain discretion and comply with strict confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to adapt to quickly shifting priorities, manage multiple projects effectively, and take initiative to coordinate diverse administrative functions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the public, agency personnel, consultants, and other professionals.
• Knowledge of modern office practices, equipment, and procedures.
